Since 1979 Alpha Delta pi's international philanthropy has been the Ronald McDonald house charities (RMHC). Ronald McDonald House is a nonprofit organization that provides a home away from home for families who have hospitalized children. It allows them to stay for little or no cost, and provides things like home cooked meals, private bedrooms, and playrooms for children. Our chapter takes trips to nearby Ronald McDonald Houses to cook meals for the families and clean the houses several times throughout the year. Each fall Epsilon Omicron also holds a kickball tournament for the other organizations on Murray State's campus to raise money for RMHC.

"The Ronald McDonald House has been close to my heart since my parents stayed there while my little brother underwent surgery. For a while the RMH became their home away from home, just like the sisterhood of Alpha delta pi has also become my home away from home."

Gentry House

Our chapter also raises money for a local charity called The Gentry House. The Gentry House is an emergency transitional homeless shelter. They provide families of the Murray and Calloway County area with a rent and utility free two bedroom apartment while they are in need of shelter. Each spring we have the event "Pie a pi" where people can donate money and in turn they get to throw a pie at one of our sisters. This past spring we raised $756.57 for The Gentry House during this event.
